Terms of Service

This document is not yet finalised. Sections marked below are awaiting completion.

Effective date: [TO BE COMPLETED — effective date]

Operating entity: [TO BE COMPLETED — legal entity name]

Registered address: [TO BE COMPLETED — postal address]

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and [TO BE COMPLETED — legal entity name], which operates IronSharp at ironsharparena.com.

2. Accounts and Arena Handles

Debaters participate under an Arena Handle. You are responsible for everything posted from your account. Handles are pseudonymous, not anonymous: submissions are permanent, public where the debate is public, and attributable to your account internally.

3. Content you post

You keep ownership of what you write. You grant IronSharp a licence to host, display and distribute your submissions as part of the debate record, including after a debate is completed. Completed public debates are intended to remain readable and are indexed by search engines.

4. Conduct

Debate the argument, not the person. Harassment, threats, doxxing, impersonation, and deliberate disruption of a debate are prohibited. IronSharp may hide content, suspend accounts and end debates where these rules are broken. The AI Referee is advisory only and never rules on the truth of a religious or theological claim.

5. Payment and subscriptions

Terms covering paid plans, renewals, refunds and cancellation: [TO BE COMPLETED — payment and refund terms]

6. Disclaimers and liability

IronSharp hosts argument between users. It does not endorse, verify or adjudicate the religious, theological or factual claims made by debaters. [TO BE COMPLETED — warranty and liability limitations]

7. Governing law and disputes

Governing jurisdiction: [TO BE COMPLETED — governing jurisdiction]. Dispute resolution process: [TO BE COMPLETED — dispute resolution process]

8. Changes and contact

Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Questions about these terms go to the support address on the contact page.
