Why IronSharp Exists

IronSharp was created around a simple conviction: an argument should be judged by its substance, not by the identity, status, charisma, or speed of the person making it.

Live debate rewards quick recall, confidence and performance. Those are real skills, but they are not evidence. So the Arena has no microphone. Debaters take turns, in writing, with time to read, check a source, and think before answering. A weak argument does not become strong because it was delivered quickly.

Debaters compete under Arena Handles. Not to hide from accountability — every submission is permanent and public — but because a name, a title, a following and a denomination are not arguments, and they should not be able to win one.
